Marisa Frank

Founder and Director

Marisa is the founder and director of Music City Kidz. Her work with children has been featured by the Grammy’s, awarded by Grammy Award-winning artists Darius Rucker, Jason Isbell, and Rhiannon Giddens, and formally honored by the Tennessee State Legislature. Under her direction, children have performed for members of the U.S. Congress, Tennessee Governors Office, Tennessee State Legislature, Nashville Mayor’s Office, Davidson County Metro Council, and as featured artists at the Nashville Schermerhorn Symphony Center and the City of Nashville’s official Christmas Tree lighting ceremony. As a full-scholarship recipient in undergraduate school at the Mead Witter School of Music, she studied Classical Piano Performance with world-renowned pianist, Christopher Taylor, bronze medalist in the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. In addition to her work with Music City Kidz, she currently serves as the Director of Related Arts at Nashville Classical, a Title I Tennessee Reward School nestled in the heart of East Nashville. Her deepest passion is developing the hearts of young musicians through creativity, and her aim is to do that in big ways through Music City Kidz.
