Sage Chase

Originally from Westchester, New York, Sage is an alumnus of the Broadway For All Conservatory, where she trained in the division of Musical Theatre. While studying for her Theatre degree at Howard University (Class of 2020), Sage worked as a dance teacher and performer. Her Washington, DC credits include being a semi-finalist in APO’s NextGen: Finding the Voices of Tomorrow vocal competition at Arena Stage and performing as an actor-dancer in a commercial for the DC Lottery. She has collaborated with Broadway professionals and mentored young artists in New York City, which helped her develop a love for working with children.

Before relocating to Nashville, Sage performed at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, NY, for “Know Diabetes by Heart,” an event hosted by Angela Bassett. As a Morgan Stanley PASE Teaching Fellow, she worked with middle school students in an academic setting. Sage is thrilled for the opportunity to further develop as a teaching artist and activist, making a positive impact in her community. She is currently pursuing an M.A.T. at Relay GSE.
